BEVERLY YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY
CODE OF CONDUCT
Beverly Youth Field Hockey (BYFH) program mission is to promote youth field hockey within the Beverly community, for kids who live or attend school in Beverly, MA. Our focus is to develop and improve the skills of our players to field confident and competitive teams, while creating a safe and fun environment that emphasizes teamwork, good sportsmanship and integrity. In doing so, all players, coaches, parents/guardians and program members must read, acknowledge and adhere to the Code of Conduct below.

Reporting and Escalating Misconduct:
Any player, parent, coach, umpire or program member that witnesses a violation to the Code of Conduct outlined above is responsible for reporting the violation for further investigation and action by the Baystate Youth Field Hockey League Board of Directions. All violations should be submitted via writing to baystateyfhl@gmail.com.
All conduct related violations will be reviewed in detail at the scheduled board of directors meeting posted on the Baystate Youth Field Hockey League website, or during a specific meeting, if warranted. Disciplinary action can result in the removal of a player, a parent from attending future events, a coach from a team or a program from being within the league itself. All circumstances will be reviewed independently and voted on by the Board of Directors and the actions for remediation will be communicated with the applicable parties at the conclusion of the meeting.
Code of Conduct Procedures:
The Code of Conduct will be re-evaluated each season and posted on the Beverly Youth Field Hockey website for all participants to review.
